Purchasing of materials and supplies for Colorado based metal manufacturing company.

Position Requirements

3 years+ experience as a buyer – Sheet metal experience preferred.

Purchasing based on ERP/MRP systems preferred.

Strong price negotiating skills required.

Quoting/Estimating skills preferred.

Must be able to multitask and function in a quick turn environment.

Sourcing skills for multiple types of sheet metal related items, and MRO, required.

Ability to read prints a plus.

Individual must have strong communication skills verbal and written.

Individual must have a professional attitude and have the ability to represent the company in a positive manner.

Individual must have the ability to communicate effectively with all departments.

Will also participate directly and indirectly in warehouse functions – system receiving & issuing,

Inventory reconciliation – cycle counts and physical inventories.

ERP/MRP systems experience related to production, inventory control, and purchasing.

Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook.

Ability to lift 50+ Lbs.
